Jeff Stout was a graduate student in the ADCATS group at BYU. His contribution was to advance the concept of geometric covariance as applied to compliant assembly tolerance analysis.

Jeff moved to Los Angeles to work at the Rocketdyne division of Boeing in 1997. At Rocketdyne, Jeff designs, analyzes, and tests liquid rocket engines in the advanced programs group, with most of his efforts focused on integrating advanced material systems into new rocket engine designs.
